A practical, no-spin overview of the public, magnet, and private options connected to Midway Hollow (75229 / 75220) — so you can build your shortlist fast.

Public + Private Paths Feeder-Pattern Notes Family Relocation

Start Here: Two Feeder Paths

Because of where Midway Hollow sits, homes here fall into one of two Dallas ISD high-school feeder patterns depending on the exact street. Knowing which path a specific home is on is one of the first questions families ask.

The Two Public Paths

W.T. White path: often Withers Elementary → Thomas C. Marsh Middle → W.T. White High School. Generally the northern and eastern Midway Hollow streets.

Thomas Jefferson path: often Walnut Hill ILA / Field / Burnet → Medrano Middle → Thomas Jefferson High School. Generally the southern and western streets, including much of 75220.

Boundaries change and run block-by-block, so verify any specific address with Dallas ISD before you rely on it:

Neighborhood Public Schools

Midway Hollow sits across two Dallas ISD vertical teams. The gold tag on each card shows which high-school path that campus belongs to — but boundaries run street-by-street, so always confirm your exact address with the district.

Magnet, Choice & Talented-and-Gifted

Beyond your zoned campus, Dallas ISD runs application-based magnet and choice schools open to students across the district — several of them nationally recognized.

How Choice Works

Magnet and choice schools require a separate application (usually the fall/winter before the school year) and admission is not based on your home address. Notable options families weigh include the School for the Talented and Gifted (TAG) and the Science and Engineering Magnet (SEM) at the Townview center, plus the in-area K.B. Polk Center for Academically Talented & Gifted.

Application windows and eligibility change year to year — check the district's current choice/magnet timeline early.
